An extremely rare shirt  – the yellow away shirt with dark star ball patch was only worn in one game. The shirt was purchased in the Don Revie Statue Football Memorabilia Auction at Elland Road on Thursday 29 March 2012. The auction was held to raise money for the Don Revie statue appeal, a fund setup to erect the statue of Leeds’ legendary former manager at Elland Road.

Besiktas away Champions League First Group Stage, Wed 18 October 2000

Score: Besiktas 0 Leeds United 0

This was a highly charged fixture following the tragic events on the clubs’ previous trip to Turkey in 2000. Leeds’ allocation was severely limited and only 138 fans were allowed to make the trip. The game ended 0-0 and is sadly remembered for Michael Bridges suffering a terrible injury which resulted in him only playing 10 more games for Leeds over 4 seasons.
